Fun Weekend

This weekend was a lot of fun. One of my best friends from High School got married in the Mesa Temple. She looked very pretty. (thank you for the pictures Sister Neilson) The whole wedding was very nice. The Moeller family looked great. I love weddings because it gives everyone a chance to visit with friends and family. I was able to visit with Christi, Jeanette, and Jennifer Smith at the wedding and then later at the reception, was able to see Nicki. Her little boy is the cutest ever. :) It was a lot of fun. After the reception, I was able to go to Frost with my friend Christi and her husband Daniel. They are such a fun couple and go great together. Daniel is excited for the ASU and U of A basketball game tonight. It is at 10:00 PM...yikes!!! John and I are hoping that it'll be on TV. This picture is for Daniel. :)

Then on Saturday morning, my mom and I went and got a bagel and went to a matinee movie with Kristen. We originally went to go see the Shopaholic movie and after about 15 minutes, we got bored with it so we went to probably an even dumber movie called Madea Goes To Jail. We have some weird obsession with the Madea movies in our family. We can't wait for Alexis to get home because we are going to have a Madea movie marathon.

After the movie I went home and found that Scotty was visiting us in Phoenix. We had a fun time with him. He always brings Krispy Cream doughnuts, which I am a huge fan of. John and I went out for a nice bike ride on a trail by our house. I've actually have never been on a trail while riding bikes. It was really fun. Then this morning we went to my in-laws ward and our nephew was ordained to be a teacher. It has been a very fun and busy weekend. :)

I Love Zumba

When Alexis lived in Phoenix with John and I, we got addicted to a zumba dance class. We would go religiously every week. The past couple of months I have stopped going because I have been busy with things. Tonight when I got off work and came home, I was trying to take a test for one of my online classes and all of a sudden I was kicked out of the web page and the ASU server was no longer working. I was really frustrated so I decided to go to the gym. When I got there, they were starting a zumba class. I joined in...and now I am happy. :)

Fun Weekend

This weekend has been a lot of fun! John and I went down to Tucson to spend time with family. Saturday afternoon I went with my mom and my sister to Chipotles to get a free burrito. I was not told to wear red and was wearing a bright yellow shirt instead...needless to say I stood out like a sore thumb. lol My girlfriend Shanna was there with her family and her little boy called me out on wearing the yellow shirt. It was pretty funny. :) On Saturday night, we were able to meet Kate's son Paul. He is really cute. On Sunday we had hamburgers on the grill with everyone. We left and came home and watched the Super Bowl. It's way sad that they lost...but at the same time it was a great game. :) Can you believe that it is February already????

Hello Out There

I have not blogged in quite a while. We have been very busy lately. Here is an update of things that have been going on in the Bowler World... My cousin Kate had her first child. His name is Paul and he is too cute. Here is a picture of him. Kate looks really pretty in this picture. I really need to get over and see them. :)

My parents were Mesa a couple of weeks ago and we were able to do lunch at the cafeteria where I work. It was really good to see them. :)

Some more exciting news is that the Cardinals are going to the Super Bowl next week!!!

John and I started our FINAL semester at ASU. We are both really excited!!!

Kristen and Nick came and we BBQ'd together. The next day Kristen came to Primary with me. :)

I set some goals for the new year... I need to be more healthy. 3x a week to the gym, eat an apple a day, and drink more water. So far so good. (I do realize that this is still the first month...lol) I gained some weight over the holiday season, so I have been doing Slim Fast. John calls it Slim Quick.

This has turned into a random post. I will try to do a lot better about posting more often. Hope that everyone has a nice week. :)

New Years Pictures

Here are some pictures from New Years at my sister in law Mannie's house. (Thanks Mannie for the pictures)
This is a picture of my nephew Alex with his friend. Notice the chocolate fountain behind him. We had fun with it. :)

This is my sister in law Mannie and her daughter Monique. They have very pretty eyes. :)

This is my niece Monique and I. Isn't she pretty. :) She is a very fun girl.

Here is a picture of some of my family. They really like playing Guitar Hero, I think here they are in the process of playing some drum like guitar hero game.

Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Years everyone. Hope that this past year was great for everyone and hope that next year is even better! This year to ring in the New Year, we had Scott come up from Tucson. We had fun with him. He is too cute and it's fun to see him prepare to go on a mission. We had some Olive Garden to go. :) Scott royally insulted the hostess. If you see him, you should ask him what happened. I'm sure that his face would turn red. :) We also spent time with Johns family part of the night. That was also a lot of fun. It is neat to see how close John is with each of his brothers. They are hilarious together! Here are some pictures of a couple days ago when we were in Woodruff visiting family over the holidays. It was so cold in the snow. I am definitely meant to live in warm weather. :)

Christmas Pictures

This year, we spent Christmas down in Tucson. We had a lot of fun. On Christmas Eve, we went to Mama's Pizza with my Grandparents and Darl and Becky's family. Then we went to my parents home and opened some gifts. On Christmas Day, we had a nice meal with my parents and then went back up to Phoenix so that we could open our gifts here. Here are some of the pictures we took of Christmas this year. For some reason I can not find any pictures of Kristen. Sorry. :(
