We took our first lake trip of the season. It was especially fun because we were able to stay on a houseboat with family.
First stop Jake's Corner Store. Every time we go to the lake, I have to stop and get a drink. It's tradition!!!
This pic is out of order...but here is Kenzie eating dinner...
Here is the houseboat...
Here is John on the top...
Waving...
Ummm...so John's phone was accidentally tossed overboard. Here is Calvin assessing the damage...
Boating fun!!!
Isn't he handsome???
We went on a hike and the rangers were showing animals at the Visitor Center...
Here we are taking a break...
Here is cheerleader Kailey showing off her moves. :)
The scenery was so pretty...
We made it to the top where the Salado Indians once lived...
More boat pics...
John caught a baby fish and it was adorable...don't worry, it was thrown back...ha
We went out to eat at Butchers Hook. I had always wanted to eat there and to be honest, it wasn't that great. Kenzie liked her wings though. :)
We went to sleep and it started raining...we woke up and there was snow on the mountains!!!
Goodbye Marina...
Thanks Curtis Family for the great weekend!!!
We had a blast. :)

Renaissance Festival
Today we went to the Renaissance Festival!!! I have always wanted to go and it proved to be a blast!
Beware...there are A LOT of pics...
Here started our trip at the Knight's Roundtable...
Next year we will be better prepared with our Renaissance garb!
There were too many fun costume shops to look at.
Is this a sword fight I see???
All Hail Larry the King...
We bought headpieces to fit in with the Renaissance crowd...
John and I waiting for the jousting competition to begin...
My parents...
Ummm.....we ate turkey legs and they were delish!
My mom enjoyed her leg as well...
Here are some pics of the joust...
I've turned into a witch...
I like to think of myself as Glenda the good witch...haha
The boys had fun playing some boat game they found...
I thought this was adorable.
It's a Pig Pin!!!
Easy there Robin...bwahahahaha
Everything was way expensive there. That goblet is like $40.
How fun would it be to have goblets for when company comes over? :)
The highlight of our day had to be riding on the elephant...
Here we are waiting in line...
Here we are on Dumbo...
She was such a good Elephant!!!
We survived the ride!!!
We had tons of fun at the festival. Next year more family needs to come with us.
We had a blast together and I can't even imagine how much fun it could be with more people. :)

Stump Removal
This is the picture I received while I was out...
About 6 months ago we had a really bad storm and out 20 ft tree split in half. Our poor neighbor had it land on her new car.
Anyway...it had been an ugly stump for a while and John and his brother were able to take care of it!!!
Here is what the area looks like now. Having it removed makes me want to go and do some yard work. I should do it while I have the motivation...ha
