I'm Back...

I haven't blogged in quite a while but thought it was time to at least make an attempt at it. I have been super busy and FB and Instagram are a lot more convenient to use...but I think a blog is much more personal.  My last post was well over a year ago.  A lot has happened.  Connor is 16 months old and is going to be a big brother soon.  We are super excited.  My due date is 6/1 and we are having another boy.  Naming him Calvin Ray.  I think brothers will be adorable. 
We got a piano tonight from my Grandma Shipley.  We are excited about it.  Connor clearly loves it (pic above). 
That's all I have for tonight.  More updates to come.  I may even back date some things...we'll see.  :)

Tucson Visit

We went down to Tucson to visit Grandma Shipley and to watch my mom in some tennis tournament(we actually didn't end up going to the tournament...but they won so that's nice).  Anyway...while we were down there Connor got adjusted by my dad.  He did ok.  I think the more he's adjusted the more ok he will be with it.  It was a quick but fun trip.

Future SunDevil right here!!!  We were excited that the Devils made it into March Madness...and then they lost...sad face.  Either way Connor is the cutest SunDevil around.  :)

New Trunks

Thanks Grandma for the new swim trunks!  This little fish loves the pool.  We will have fun at swim lessons this summer.

29 Weeks

Snacks after Church

This little man loves snacking anytime...anywhere. lol He does pretty well at church when we are there but once we get home, he wants food. haha  Love him!
Side note...I'm obsessed with dressing him up for church.  I might have a problem.  He's seriously like a dress up doll.  Is that weird to say??  I know a lot of moms with daughters feel this way...but I do too!

OV Youth Rapelling Trip

John and I are in YW and YM and we love it! Here we are rappelling.  Obviously Connor and didn't actually go down the cliff...but it was fun watching the youth in our ward.  We bring Connor with us to pretty much every activity.  He seems to do pretty good.  We love our little guy.  :)

Happy Valentine's Day

Here are some pics from our Valentine's Day shoot.  Connor was super crabby during the entire thing...come to find out the next day he had a horrible ear infection.  Poor kid.  we did get some fun pics though.
Side note...I'm obsessed with argyle sweater vests and I can't wait to have matching brother outfits!!!

Gilbert Temple Open House

We were able to go to the Gilbert Temple open house.  It was beautiful.  The Gilbert Temple has a lot of stairs...I may have taken the elevator down when we were finished with the tour.  I love how AZ now has so many Temples.  We could definitely feel the spirit there.  It'll be nice to be able to do a session with John once it is dedicated.  :)

Christmas Card 2013

Here was our Christmas Card from 2013.  My friend Christi was able to take our pics.  It's going to be fun having 2 little ones this coming year.
Side note...I love my hair short but am trying to grow it out.  It's in that awkward stage and driving me insane.  If I ask you if I should cut my hair...please tell me no.  haha
