Jeep

It's back...
We got a 1985 CJ7 this weekend.
We actually owned this car about a year and a half ago... and then sold it to John's Uncle because I didn't really care for it.
Long story short...it's back in our possession.
John has promised me that he will paint it soon (the main reason I didn't care for it before was because it is Camo).
We took it out this weekend and I have to admit that it is fun!

Amos Wedding

This weekend we were able to attend the wedding of Jaime Mendell (John's cousin) and Quince Amos. The wedding went well and the reception was a blast!!!

The cake was wonderful!!!

Grandpa Dillon

We went out to dinner with my grandparents this week. I haven't seen my Grandpa in years. We went to Arriba's. It was great!
We should have taken another picture...Kathleen and I have some random faces going on...haha
It was a fun night to get caught up. :)

Vegas

We went to Las Vegas last weekend. It was an interesting trip. We left Thursday morning. John's back was feeling a bit out of place,but we still made the drive. By the second day, John had thrown his back out. He couldn't get out of bed. It was a bummer!

Soooo...I signed us up for a time share presentation. It was our first and last time share presentation. John was miserable and the presentation took forever. John was able to use a wheelchair from the hotel since he had to go to the presentation with me.



It was nice to get away for a couple of days together and relax (even though we were mainly spending time at the hotel).
Update on John: He has seen a Chiropractor and is doing much better!

This year John surprised me at work with a dozen red roses! It was a nice surprise and it was fun to see him in the middle of the day. :)

New Furniture

This weekend, we had my brother in law Ray come visit. On his visit he brought down our new furniture that he made.
I love love love it!!!

Now I want to redo our cabinets so that they match...I've heard that's quite the project!

Here is the entertainment center...I can wait to decorate it...Hobby Lobby here I come!!!

I made a quiche this morning for breakfast...it turned out delish!
