Vision Changes

So apparently vision changes can occur during pregnancy...Hmmmm
This has been an issue for me.  I've been recommended to wear my glasses until November...yeah that's not happening.  I tried it for a couple of weeks and I NEED MY CONTACTS!
We went to the eye doctor yesterday and Drum-roll please.....
Nothing has changed since last year.  My eyes are still the exact same.  Now I am trying out different brands of contacts.  I guess a different contact lens may do the trick.
So far so good...the trials I have in today have given me back my vision.  :)

Up North

This weekend we went to visit Johns family up North.  Johns dad raises cows and some calves were born.  They were super cute!  We also spent some time on the North Rim.  It was rainy and perfect!  Arizona is a beautiful place.  :)

Leg Cramps

I have the worst leg cramps lately.  My doctor told me to take a calcium supplement and to try and eat more Potassium. I've done both and still have leg issues. I wake up in the middle of of night with both legs in pain and John has to massage them. Then they hurt like crazy all the next day.  Any suggestions?

22 Weeks

Here is a bump pic at 22 weeks!  We are getting excited to meet our little guy in a couple of months.  :)

Night Out On The Town

So last night, our 2 dogs Charles and Jack decided to go on a little joy ride around the neighborhood.  We are having a neighbor boy mow our lawn for the summer and he left the back gate open.  I went to let them in at around 10:30 pm and they were nowhere to be seen.  Apparently they were roaming the neighborhood for a couple of hours.  I of course was freaking out, and trying to hold my composure.  Luckily a family 2 streets over found them and they were chillin in their backyard.  This morning I double checked to make sure the gate was closed (I think it will be a habit from now on).  We are happy they are both safe and sound.  :)

Happy Anniversary

Happy Anniversary to us!!!  We have been married for 5 years.  Best 5 years of my life.  :)  We went out to dinner at the Keg.  We usually go to the Keg for our Anniversary because the Seafood is delish.  John got seafood and I got chicken.  It was good.  It was pouring most of the day which was fun!  We also went and saw Brave at the theater (it was the only movie we haven't seen).  It was cute.

Cravings

What do I crave you ask?
Peanut Butter on absolutely everything...and I mean everything!
I found myself today at work with a brownie...adding peanut butter to it. haha

Fourth of July

This year for the 4th of July, we spent time in Woodruff with the Bowler family.  It was a lot of fun and the weather was so much cooler than in Mesa.  It even rained while we were up there.  It's always fun visiting family!  We were able to watch the fireworks in Holbrook which was fun.
We were watching from inside our car (it was pouring outside).  We thought it would be fun to watch the Finale outside so we could see better.  John and I got out...and somehow getting out of the truck, I locked the doors with the key inside.  Oops!  John  waited in the rain for a locksmith to come while I went back to his brothers house.  I felt so bad leaving him in the rain. Good news is that the locksmith was pretty quick and John came home shortly.  John is such a great guy. I would have had a meltdown if I were stuck in the rain.  :)
