There is just so little time with so many fun things to do. We do look forward to being done with school though and having some fun this summer since last summer we both took summer school. Any other ideas of fun???

Dinner With The Shipleys

Here are some pictures from when we went down to Tucson for dinner last week. It was kind of a random trip, but it was really nice to visit with everyone. :)

Lake Roosevelt

We went up to Lake Roosevelt this weekend. It was a lot of fun. Friday night, we met up with Johns dad and brother Ronnie and then on Saturday we hung out with John's cousin Rhonda, her husband Calvin, and their kid. John was brave enough to get into the water. He went wake boarding. I was chicken and just watched. In all honesty though, the water was freezing. We had to store the boat because we are going back up there next weekend, so we had to leave the boat by a house that Johns dad is working on. I thought that it was nice that we were able to store the boat somewhere close. I was following John in my Corolla (John was in the truck) and then we came to a little river thing in the middle of the road. It kind of freaked me out because I would never run my car through a wash. (and this was a small version of a wash) Everything was fine though and my car still runs. :) On our way back, we saw a restaurant called Aunt Becky's. It made me laugh because I thought about my Aunt Becky and then John and I laughed because I am an aunt to 20 plus of our nieces and nephews on John's side of the family. It was a very fun day. :)

Beckys Boat

So last weekend, John and I decided to buy a boat for a graduation gift to ourselves. We both are graduating from ASU in May. :) It was kind of a random purchase...but it has already been a ton of fun. :) We had Kristen and Nick come up from Tuscon and they joined us on the lake on Saturday. We all had a blast. Nick was even able to drive it. I'm getting better at driving the boat. lol John grew up around boats and water sports, so he knows how to work everything. My job is to sit and look pretty. I think that I may hav scared Kristen and Nick when I backed the boat out of the trailer into the water. No worries we were all safe. The best thing about the boat is that it is going to be decalled as Beckys Boat. I have a boat...how fun is that? :)

Happy Saint Patricks Day!!!

Happy Saint Patty's Day!!! I'm sort of sad it is over because this past month during lunch...I would walk over to Mc Donald's and get a medium Shamrock Shake. Oh well. :)

Deanie

Dean is such a funny dog. He is our cuddly guy. Charles doesn't like to snuggle all the time...but Dean is always ready. :)

Babies

Today we had the opportunity to go to one of Johns old roomates baby blessing. John was able to stand in the circle. I am thankful that John is a worthy Priesthood holder. It was really neat. The baby's name is Jonas. Here is a picture of him.

My cousin Nicki had her baby shower this past weekend. Unfortunately, we were at the lake on spring break. (those pictures are still to come) The shower was thrown at my Aunts house in Tucson. It looked like it was a lot of fun. Here is a picture of my cousin pregnant. How exciting to be having a baby. :)

I know that I have been doing a lot of posts about babies lately. I am not pregnant for any of you wondering...but if we did have kids...this might be what they would look like...hopefully they are a lot cuter than this...when John and I did this online, we were laughing really hard. :)

Another Baby...Meet Paul...

Here is a picture of my cousin Kate's baby. He is such a doll. :) His pictures on Kate's blog are the cutest ever. Today he is celebrating his 2 month birthday. Happy B-day Paul. :)

Mini Palm Tree

John bought me a mini palm tree for my desk at my office. It was very sweet of him. The last plant that I had at my desk lasted about 4 months and then it had to go. I should have taken a picture of the old plant. lol Hopefully this plant will last a little longer. It doesn't need very much attention, so it should last a long while. Thanks John for the fun plant. :)
