Arizona Mills Mall
I went to Arizona Mills Mall for a couple of reasons last night. 1: The Ladies Footlocker was going out of business so I thought I could find some awesome deals there...2: I wanted to go to the Gap to find some new pants... and 3: I am extremely bored and want John to come back from his hunting trip. Anyway as I was walking around the mall I began to think about when I was younger and thought that the AZ Mills mall was the coolest mall I'd ever been to. lol I remember the Rain Forrest Cafe and how it was best restaurant that I ever went to as a kid. I went into some random store and was looking at some of their shirts and came across a shirt that said, "I Like My Boyfriend More". It made me laugh. I think that I'm too old to be shopping in these stores. I quickly left. Anyway...I ended up getting a pair of pants at the Gap, getting a pedicure, and then got waxed. Then I talked to my mom the whole drive back to our house. It was an interesting night.

i grew up in west phoenix (avondale to be specific) and never went to az mills. the 'cool' kids talked about it at school, and i would always ask my mom to take me (it is a 40 minute drive and we have at least 4 malls closer) and she never would. i finally went just a year or two ago, and didn't get all the fuss. yes- love the gap outlet- but seriously?! i couldn't figure out what all the hype was about. i'm sure it would have been really awesome though when i was 14. :)
We had FUN times at the Rainforest CAfe.. the 4 of us.. Pizza and Cesar Salad.. and then dessert.. back then it was fun.. now.. it is so ghetto! lol!
lol....getting a little personal there Bec.....waxing and all. lol
It sounds like you had a nice weekend. I remember how popular the Arizona Mills used to be when it first opened and how difficult it was to shop there. Now it is so run down, but there still are some good deals there.
We used to go there too when we firsted moved here, but now not so much! And I ate at the Rainforest, once.
